You Are A Mircle

So, what are you going to do with your power?

Hey guys! Today I want to talk to you about Miracles. In Genesis chapter 1 verse 1 it says, "in the beginning, God created the heaven and the earth". Verse 2 says, "and the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters".  

So, what does that tell you?  It paints a picture of how miraculous and creative God is. Because anything God does is a miracle, it doesn’t matter if it’s the smallest or simplest thing he does for you. But by him doing the act, it classifies as a miracle. Therefore, if you have Christ living on the inside of you, you are the miracle.  

God is defined as many things throughout the bible, but I’m going to show you how he is classified as a miracle. In verses 1 and 2 mentioned above, he creates the world by himself! That is a supernatural event that cannot be explained but through the Holy Spirit. Scientists till this day are still trying to figure out how the world came into existence. Some say the big bang, some say God created the big bang, but however it happened, God created the world. This is the background knowledge of how God is defined as a miracle.  

I ask you what is the purpose of a miracle? The purpose is to be delivered from dangerous or a tricky situation and to serve as a reminder of the very works we too can do.  

The definition of a miracle according to Webster Merriam dictionary is a supernatural event that cannot be explained but only done by some higher power. This very definition is the definition of God. So if God is the miracle then we now have access and power to perform miracles on the outside because we have the miracle-working power on the inside. 

Which makes us miracles! Now that you know who you are in Christ, I ask you what are you going to do with your power? Are we going to continue to sleep on God or are we going to recognize the miraculous power we have inside of us and use it for God’s glory?  

Many of you have been through some unexplainable events that you are surprised that you are even alive today. Some of you call it luck, and some of you call it the hand of God. You are a miracle because you have been giving this day, this moment to give God your all, to give him your life.
