Waking Up with Faith

Hey guys,   today I just want to share some devotion with you today.

Scriptures of the day :

1 Corinthians 13:12

Psalms 29:11

1 John 1:7

Today's devotion says that God wants you to know how safe and secure you are in his presence.  That when you experience loneliness you think that God is not there but his presence is always there, you just have to feel it and that's when his peace displaces all negative feelings.  When your sins weigh heavily on you, don't feel like God is disappointed in you but come to him and ask for forgiveness.  Staying in the light of his presence, receiving forgiveness, cleansing, and healing. Remember that I have clothed you in my righteousness, so nothing you do can separate him from you, because you are a piece of him when I breathe life into you (Genesis 2:7) you became his heart and soul.  So know this whenever you fall,  stumble, or feel not enough,  know that Christ is with you and he's here to help.

Please don't hide when you sin or when you feel lost from him, seeking safety and forgiveness in the darkness, because then you will only indulge in self-pity, denial, and self-righteousness, blaming, and hatred. But I am the light of the world, and his illumination decimates the darkness. Come close to Christ and let his light cover you, getting rid of darkness and permeating you with my Peace.

Overall message: God wants you to know that he is here with you and for you. Trust in him and when you're feeling down or know you did something wrong God is there to receive you with open arms, not hatred and disappointment because he loves you.
