The Hero That Came to the Rescue

The Hero that came to the rescue(This is your time to Exit)

Are you going through a problem, and you desperately need someone to solve it for you? Let me share with you a dream I had a week ago. I am sharing this because you have the victory over your problems. When God is on your side fighting for you, no darkness can come against the power of Jesus Christ.

There was this girl who was running in the woods. She was heading to a destination. As she was running, she noticed her feet were in pain. As she continued to run, she looked down and saw that she was barefoot and was stepping on sticks and thorns. She said “this is hurting me”. She stopped for a brief moment to put on her socks and shoes; so she can finish running. But from a distance, a man was hiding with glasses. He was holding a black dog by a leash. He was watching and waiting for a chance to attack the girl. He found his opportunity and unleashed the vicious dog. The dog came dashing towards the girl and bit her on her right hand. She saw how the dog had these two front fangs like a vampire. They dug deep into her skin. She was screaming “JESUS, JESUS, save me, someone help me”.

There were a few people nearby as she continued to plea for help. The people nearby were so stunned by this attack they froze and just watched her in agony. The girl took her left hand and opened the dog’s mouth and was struggling to pull the dog's teeth out of her hand. Right when she was almost successful. The man released another dog to attack. This dog was more petite and brown; the dog dashed with such speed the girl saw the other dog coming and was left defenseless. That’s when this Tall, strong, and loving hero came out of nowhere and stepped between the dog and the young girl.  The girl was released, and the hero said now finish your race. The girl was running, but she was concerned that the hero was getting hurt. And she ran the Hero shield her from the dogs. The hero spoke to the dogs and said, “The enemy is roaring like a lion seeking who he may devour.” As the Hero finished those words, the dogs shrunk down to nothing and then disappeared. The girl was able to get to the bridge safely and continue with her journey.

There was a lot that stood out to me, but I will share three points that I believe will help you.

Call On The Name Of Jesus

When we are in trouble, we must call on the name of Jesus. When sudden problems come up in our lives, our first instinct would be to call a friend, a therapist, or even our pastor. Although those are good resources, our first thought should always be to God first, like the lady in the story, as soon as the dog came to attack, the first words out of her mouth were, “Jesus help me.” she knew that she was in trouble and no-one could help her but her savior Jesus Christ.

God Always Comes To Your Rescue

-God will protect you; he loves you so much he doesn’t want to see you hurt. The way the Hero came was tall and strong and powerful but yet so loving and nurturing. He was indicating that even at their own risk, love will protect. The hero was willing to save and protect the girl when the dogs started to attack the hero. When you call on Jesus, he will always come through for you. No matter how hopeless your problem may seem. No, how much it hurts, no matter how many people are around watching you in pain. When you speak the name of Jesus, he will come to your rescue. There is power in the name of Jesus.

Speak The Word Over Your Problems

What amazed me about the hero’s actions was that the hero spoke the word of God to the dogs, And the dogs shrunk to nothing and vanished. Spiritually this means to speak the word of God to your problem, to whatever issue the enemy is trying to attack you with. Only the word can conquer over the attack. The enemy is lurking and watching you; he is waiting for any moment to throw you off track. But ,when you have scriptures you stand on the scriptures to increase your faith and you speak to the problem.

So what is your dog in your life? What is the enemy trying to throw at you? Likes those dogs in the story, they were commanded to kill, steal, and destroy this young lady. They were waiting for a vulnerable time to attack and stop the girl from her purpose. I want you think what is the enemy trying to stop you from accomplishing? Is it finances, fear, mental health, health, or trauma? No matter what the enemy attacks you with there is power in the name of Jesus to proclaim his word over every situation in your life. This is your exodus season, to leave your sorrows in the past. To finally say goodbye to the cycles and repeated torments that keep following you. You have to finish the race, you have to get to the other side. There is victory on the other side. I am here to encourage you that if we trust in Jesus he will never fail us.

I hope you enjoyed this encouraging message and know Jesus is your hero. As I conclude, leave this song with you; it’s called High Water by Tori Kelly. May God bless you and protect you until next time.

Love,

Mahalia💛💛
