Moving From Brokeness to Purpose(The Shift pt2)

Hello, hello, and welcome back to Mahalia's Inspirations. I am so glad you're here, and my prayer is that you can gain something to help you along your spiritual journey.  Today's message will be a piggyback from April's message, "The Shift is Coming". In this message, you will gain the knowledge and tools to shift your life into a greater territory.  If you're ready to move on from brokenness and take those lessons and use them in your purpose, then continue reading, and thank you for your support. Now let's DIIIIVE IN!!

You have been created by God with a specific purpose to carry out. He has scouted, equipped, pursued, and drafted you for his Kingdom team.  If you remember from last month's message on   The Shift is Coming we discussed the power of being shifted. When you move from one place to another, you cannot bring what worked in the past into the new area. if you truly want to grow and elevate, you have to learn to accept and adapt to change. When we talk about moving from an area of brokenness to purpose, there has to be a shift, a change within you.  For example, if today you’re broke and tomorrow you become a millionaire, you now have access to things you couldn't afford before When you move from brokenness to purpose, you now have access to resources, tools, and abundance that you did not have before. When you are broken, or aspects of your life are "broken .and/or unhealed," you don't see how it can be used to shape and mold you into the person you're today. Read Gracefully Broken  Moving from broken to purpose is a step-by-step process:  Mind Exercise:  close your eyes and think about something that requires you to complete a task before you can move on to the next. and think about that example for the rest of the read.

Accessing the broken pieces of your life is what propels you to your destiny.  The definition of Brokenness means to "be having been fractured or damaged and no longer in one piece or in working order: or having given up all hope; despairing:" According to Merriam- Webster dictionary.  Many people today lack the answers they need about how to address the problems in their lives. To get out of brokenness and become whole, it takes a process and a journey. What aspects of your life are unhealed or broken? Maybe it's marriage, maybe it's career, or maybe it's a mentality that needs to be shifted or an unhealed wound that you have yet to address. Whatever has you feeling a sense of despair and feeling like there is no solution, find what gives you that drive to keep going and help someone else along the way.  It takes knowing that your process of healing is going to look different than the next person along on their journey. To be active in your purpose, you have to know these fundamental keys about yourself.

1. You need to know your weakness

2. You need to know your strengths

3. You need to know what you care about.

Your purpose chooses you, not the other way around. God has placed your purpose inside of you, and you grow that seed by intentionally pursuing him. When you learn his ways as an athlete learns to play, you will align yourself with all that is needed to maximize your potential.  As you grow and develop individually, this process will enable you to identify, own, and address the issues in your life. When you are moving from darkness to light, you have to think about what you've been through, what your story is, and how it feeds your spirit to touch the lives of others. For example, I know I am walking in my purpose because I have a drive, a calling to free people from a slave mentality and awaken them to their identity in Christ. But I exercise my purpose in different ways through my gifts of writing, caring, illustration, and more.  So, how do you use your strengths to walk in your purpose? How do you use your passions in your purpose?  How do you use what you think is too dark, or unhealed, or weak to help someone else on their path? It's time we awaken ourselves not only spiritually but also culturally. When you're ready to heal and allow your broken pieces of you to be fixed, it makes room to help someone else along on their journey. That is your purpose, whether that is inspiring others through music, art, coaching, or whatever your gift is. You take what you've learned to help someone else using the gift God has placed in you, which gives you purpose; that is how you walk and thrive in your purpose. So, are you ready to move from brokenness to purpose?   How can you ask God to align you in your purpose? If you already know you're aligned in your purpose, how can you elevate more on your journey or strengthen your gifts?

As we close, I want you to meditate on anything that captures your attention in this reading or spoke to your spirit and ask God how he can use you for his purpose. How can you take the broken pieces of your life and let those pieces elevate you in your purpose or awaken you to your purpose?  Are you ready for the shift? Because God is ready to use you and move you into a place where you will be actively exercising your gifts.  And taking every lesson you have learned, every pain and trial you've been through, and using it in your God given destiny.  I hope you enjoyed today's reading, and please share your feedback. I pray for God's peace and protection over you in Jesus' name Amen!
