Men You Have Authority In God

To all the men out there: I want to say that you are special. You're unique, and you were hand-crafted by God himself to show his power and love here on earth.  Men let’s look back into Genesis when God created you. In Genesis 1: 26 it states, “And God said, let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and the over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over the earth, and over every creepeth thing that creepeth upon the earth”.  This right explains your authority. Verse 27 says, “So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created them”.  Then in chapter 2 verse 7, it states, "And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and man became a living soul".  Men, you are handcrafted in this image of God. 

He made you in his likeliness which is love, kindness, patience, strength and more. You were not created to be weak to use this knowledge to step on others. If you have the Holy Spirit within you, you have the power to be everything you desire; you have control with the guidance of God to have a peaceful home. You have the authority God gave you and the responsibility to be in charge and to take care of the earth and the things that are in it (animals and humans). Not to be high-minded or to let anyone-not even- women step all over you. You are the leader, so that means that you take charge but doing it with grace, love, and discipline not conforming to everyone else. If you don't know how to be what God has called you to be, spend time in his word, and he will show you. “If he seeks you shall find." Matthew 7:7. Everything you need and desire is in God. Trust him to lead and guide you for God is the head; you are second and your wife and children follow under. That’s not just the "cultural structure" of society but that is how God designed it so that men can follow the lead of God. A wife as well as her husband should view and act within the relationship as a team effort. 

Do not be afraid to be a man. A man is focused, considerate, and has a purpose; but mostly he has a relationship with God. This leads me to my next focus point, finding your purpose. It's important that you seek God's will for your life and that it aligns with your will.  If you do not make God, the head of your life and be aligned in his will any other aspect of your life will not flourish. Trust God to mold you into a man that he will be pleased with, a man of servanthood. The choice is yours to make; will you allow God to show you and display in the qualities of a Godly man or will you allow other influences on model that example?
