Embracing Change: A New Beginning
Change. For some, it’s a trigger word. For others, it’s a challenge waiting to be accepted. One thing is certain—change is never easy, but it often leads to something better in the long run.
Think about some of the mistakes you made yesterday, and also reflect on what you did right. Today is a new opportunity—a fresh start to reflect, learn, and grow. We can’t undo the past; what happened is now a part of our story. But we can choose how we live in this present moment and how we move forward.

Make a Change
Change can be scary. Sometimes it feels good, other times it feels uncertain. But changing the way you look at change can be the key to transformation. There’s a well-known saying: “Be the change you want to see in the world.”
So, what’s one small (or big) step you can take today toward becoming that change? Whether it’s adjusting your mindset, forgiving someone, or simply showing up differently—every step matters.
How to Embrace Change
The past can’t be rewritten, but the present is full of endless possibilities. Today is your chance to live, to love, to rebuild, and to believe again. “Do not remember the former things, Or ponder the things of the past.”
Isaiah 43:18 AMP.
I don’t know your past—you may have walked through pain, disappointment, or deep regret. Maybe you’re struggling to take that first step forward. But here’s what I do know: you are not alone. Learn from your past. Accept it. Forgive—others, and especially yourself.
I’ve felt stuck in shame. At times I’ve thought my past was too messy for God to use me. Even at times wished to be in a simpler and “happier time in life” But I realized to embrace each season life brings and make the most of it. Everything changed when I stopped dwelling on what I couldn’t fix and began embracing the life I have right now. I chose to see my story as a lesson, not a life sentence.
A Life Lesson
One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is this: I can’t control what’s happened to me. I can’t control other people’s actions. But I can control myself—my mindset, my attitude, and how I choose to live moving forward.
If you’re ready to make peace with your past, don’t spend too much time living in it. Instead, embrace the gift of the present. This moment—right here—is where healing begins, where opportunity lives, and where change is still possible. “Listen carefully, I am about to do a new thing, Now it will spring forth; Will you not be aware of it? I will even put a road in the wilderness, Rivers in the desert.”
Isaiah 43:19 AMP. I hope this encourages you and reminds you, that God wastes nothing and he can make anything new; and you can move forward knowing that he is guiding you.
A Prayer to Start Your Day
In the name of Jesus I pray for every reader that no matter their circumstances and no matter what their past may be, they can face tomorrow because Jesus lives. I pray that through you they will let go of their past- let go of anger, resentment, envy, bitterness, and anything else that is hindering what you want to do in their life. I pray that they will learn to trust that no matter what change appears good or bad, as long as you are our anchor they will be alright. I thank you for them and may you keep them in perfect peace. In Jesus name Amen.
