Gracefully Broken

Imagine you're holding a beautiful, shiny, clear piece of glass and then SHATTER the glass drops. Some are in triangles, some in squares, and some in tiny tiny pieces. Now imagine that you're that beautiful glass, and every time someone lets you down or talks about you, or just the pressures of life get to you, a piece of you is broken. The beauty of glass is that it can endure extreme pressure and can be molding and mended into something beautiful. Just like you no matter how much the pain hurt, no matter how lonely it gets, how stagnant you may feel we can take those broken pieces of our life and create them into something beautiful.
You're Gracefully Broken

We all have a story to tell, we all have something that shaped our personalities for better or worst. Maybe your story is you come from a single-parent home, or maybe you're a first-generation living in an unfamiliar country, maybe you experience abuse, maybe you're a single parent, maybe you experience trauma. No matter what your broken pieces are we can utilize those events, those areas and make them beautiful.
To be gracefully broken means to not dwell on the broken wing. You see the butterfly above, the wing on the butterfly is missing some parts of its wing, but instead of focusing on the missing pieces focus on the rest of the body and how it can be used to its full potential. You can't help that your partner left, you can't help the fact that you had to live with an absent parent, you can't help that you had to live on the streets or that you had to pick up a second job so you can get more income,. But what you can do is be the best you can be by just trying. You're gracefully broken, imperfect and wonderfully made. This is not the end of your journey but only the beginning. Embrace your brokenness and create it into a masterpiece.
Sincerely, Mahalia ❤❤
