A Christmas Reminder: Love and Kindness Never Dies

Love, faith, and penguins!

Love and kindness are gifts from God that no hardship, age, or obstacle can diminish. Even in the coldest places on earth, His grace has a way of shining through unexpected acts of compassion. As we enter this beautiful Christmas season, I want to share a story that reminded me that with faith, perseverance, and the kindness of others, miracles—both big and small—still happen every day.

I was watching a video on YouTube and the YouTuber was traveling to Antarctica and in the midst of him traveling he met this older couple and this older couple they have been married for 55 years and  the wife is 77 and the husband is 78 years old and they travelled all this way just to see the Penguins in Antarctica. Just when they had made it to Antarctica to see the adorable Penguins, they went on the ice island to see the Penguins, but the land is exceedingly difficult to walk on it since its rocky and slippery.  The wife tried to walk up the hill but could not so she turn back to the boat. The youtuber saw the couple later on that day and felt so bad that they could not see the penguins, so he did a kind gesture and video tape the penguins up close for the couple. As the you-tuber was showing the couple the video; you could see the sadness on their faces that they could not see it for themselves.

Then, something amazing and inspiring happen.

The older couple was encouraged and went back on the ice to attempt to see the penguins. Unfortunately the walk was still too difficult for them. The youtube saw them at dinner and the older couple was remaining hopeful and was blessed to be able to see the penguins through the window.  Then, on the last day of their trip. The youtuber noticed that the older couple again, went to see the penguins. To their surprise, they weren’t just able to make the difficult walk but they were also able to see the entire tribe of penguins.  The older women was beyond thrilled that she got to see her dream come true and as I was watching this YouTube video I was touched by the fact that this older couple long to see the Penguins and they tried twice and it seemed like it couldn't be possible because it was cold and they were elderly and they couldn't make the walk on the land.  She didn’t give up hope, and the encouragement of a kindness from a stranger make all the difference.

Today, let this be a reminder that no matter what your age is no matter how difficult the path or the obstacle is in front of you know that with God all things are possible, and your dreams can come true. This is the season of Christmas it is one of the most magical and beautiful and heartwarming times of the year this is the time where people are thinking of others selflessly and they want to share their kindness to others and for some this is the time where we give thanks and admiration to our Lord and savior Jesus Christ ; who selflessly gave himself for us so that we may have a  relationship with the Father again.  As I was watching this video it encourages me to know kindness still exist; no matter how much we see evil in this world, or no matter how challenging times may be. Love and kindness will always win. It will never die out and if we remember one another and remember the love and kindness to give to others that God has given to us, then everything will be alright.

I just want to remind you to share love, and kindness spread the word and happy holidays from my Mahalia’s  inspirations.

Love,

Mahalia💛💛
