Somebody Prayed For You

Hey, and welcome back to Waking Up With Faith Blog.

Today’s blog title is “Somebody Prayed for You.”

Have you ever stopped and wondered, Has someone prayed for me? Or stopped to think that you are where you are today because of someone’s prayers? Whether it was a mother, grandmother, pastor, or friend, you’re living in an answered prayer because of someone else’s love for you.

Someone Was Thinking of You

It’s very heartwarming to know that someone is calling your name before God. Whether you are aware of it or not, that should fill your heart with warmth, knowing that someone truly is concerned and cares for you. They took the time to sit and petition the Father on your behalf.

There is power in prayer. When you go to God in prayer on behalf of someone, whether they know it or not, things begin to shift.

I believe that if you are here right now, it’s because you are living in an answered prayer. The reason you were able to survive everything the devil threw your way is because someone prayed for you.

The reason you were able to get that job or that car, or walk away from that accident unharmed, is because God saw fit to bless you and spare you. It’s also because God saw the love and dedication that was being sent forth on your behalf.

Those moments remind us that God hears the prayers of His people.

Don’t Stop Praying

If you’re praying for a loved one, a friend, or even for your own circumstances, I encourage you: don’t stop.

Keep knocking on Heaven’s door until breakthrough happens. Get a prayer circle going—two or three people you believe can pray with you and whom you trust enough to tell your problems to.

And when you pray, pray as if it’s yours.

Even when it feels like God is not answering, keep praying, because He hears every prayer and has an answer for each of them.

Just as someone has prayed for you, you can pray for someone else.

Praying is one of the most thoughtful gifts we can give to one another. It reaches places we cannot, strengthens when words fail, comforts in times of sorrow, and offers hope when things are uncertain.

Today, take a moment to thank God for those who have been praying relentlessly for you. Tell them thank you. Then ask God to place someone on your heart that you can pray for.

You may never know how impactful your prayers can be in someone else’s life.

Encouraging Scripture

“This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us.” (1 John 5:14)

I hope today’s blog encourages you and makes you reflect on the people God has placed in your life.

Until next time, be blessed and pray for someone.

Love,

Mahalia 💛🤍
