“Finally, brethren, farewell. Be perfect, be of good comfort, be of one mind, live in peace; and the God of love and peace shall be with you.”
2 Corinthians 13:11 KJV
Have you ever been somewhere and realized your phone battery is low? You don’t have a charger and you’re just praying it doesn’t die on you. There’s no charger near you and you’re hoping it can make it til you get home. I have been there. Do you remember the relief you felt once you plugged your phone in? Well, sometimes our spiritual batteries can become low and God is waiting for us to plug in with him.
Have you ever found yourself tired and running on empty? Even the most faithful believers from time to time can find themselves running on empty. So many things call our attention, the many hats we juggle, and the demands of life can sometimes rob us of our joy and drain us from the strength that is rightfully ours in Christ.
When we find ourselves tired, anxious, and discouraged, there is a source we can connect to to recharge our spiritual batteries. That source is God. Are you tired and troubled? I encourage you to turn your heart to God in prayer. If you’re worried? Then. Take intentional time out to dive deep into God’s presence and his holy word. If you’re feeling depleted, then don’t forget to assemble with your brother and sisters in Christ. We draw strength and encouragement when we are connected with people who can uplift us.
Also, ask God to renew your strength. When we connect with God we start to feel refreshed and renewed, we feel alive again. We don’t have to feel drained and stressed out when we have a loving father who is calling us to stay filled up. We don’t have to worry about when we have to charge our phones because we have to plug in at all times.
This is a call to stay connected to the source of God, so no matter what circumstances may bring it won’t rob you of your joy or strength because you know where your help comes from. God is ready to renew you and bring a sense of wonderment to your heart.
Prayer:
Dear Lord, sometimes I grow weary and get tired. Help me to lean on you in times when I feel like I have no strength. I turn my heart and prayers to you, I am secure. Renew my mind and strength in you. Let me draw comfort and courage from your promises and your unending love. In Jesus' name Amen.
I hope this blog encouraged you to know that you have a friend and Father who loves you and wants you to be powered up. Trust God and get connected. Until next time may God be with you.
Love,
Mahalia 💛💛
